Argus Command Privacy

Argus Command builds software for fire departments, and we treat the data you entrust to us as your property, not ours. The operational data your department provides, including pre-plans, building information, and procedures, is used solely to deliver intelligence back to you at the moment you need it. We use this data at inference time and through retrieval methods such as RAG to surface relevant information during a response. We do not use your data to train our AI models. If we ever build a fine-tuned model for your department in the future, it will be bespoke to you, used only for you, and deletable at your request. We use third-party large language model providers for inference only, under terms that prohibit them from retaining or training on your data. We collect no personal information about members of the public. Canadian customers' data is stored with Canadian data residency, and U.S. customers' data is stored with U.S. data residency.

When you create an Argus Command account, we collect the information needed to provision and secure your access: your name, work email, department affiliation, and role. As you use Argus AI, we retain your conversation and query history so the system can maintain context, improve your individual experience, and give your department an auditable record of how the tools were used during operations. This account information is accessible only to authorized users within your department and to Argus personnel who require it to operate and support the service. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond running and improving the service for you.

Your data belongs to your department, and you stay in control of it for as long as you use Argus Command and after you leave. We retain the operational data and user conversation history in your account only for as long as your department maintains an active relationship with us, or as needed to provide the service. If you choose to discontinue Argus Command, you have the right to have your data deleted, including uploaded operational documents, retrieval indexes built from that data, individual user conversation and query history, and any bespoke fine-tuned model created for your department. Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove this data from our systems within a defined period, subject only to any narrow retention required by law. We will confirm in writing once deletion is complete.

If you opt in to receive updates from Argus Command, we may send you product news, feature announcements, and occasional information about our services. We send these communications only to people who have agreed to receive them, and we never share or sell your contact information to third parties for their own marketing. Every message includes a clear way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or contacting us at info@arguscommand.com. Opting out of marketing will not affect any service-related communications necessary to operate your account.

Argus Command supports the privacy rights that California residents value under the California Consumer Privacy Act. If you are a California resident whose personal information we hold, you can ask us what personal information we have about you, request a copy of it, or ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
